Shopping for sustainable baby and toddler clothes

Customers shopping online for baby and toddler clothing at John Lewis, H&M, Next and Boden can now download a Google Chrome extension that lets them view sustainability information about products. The Google Chrome extension has been developed by fashion tech start-up Bendi and its founder Benjamin Norsworthy. Bendi works in the background as customers browse and shop for baby and toddlers clothing on John Lewis, H&M, Next and Boden, giving a Bendi Product Report on every item. This shows five sustainability impact areas: carbon emissions, water usage, workers' rights, risk of microplastics and ease of recyclability. Benjamin will be speaking more about Bendi and future plans at the POC fashion meeting on Wednesday 14 April at 10am GMT. Products of Change members can register for free to attend the event.
