Source Home & Gift to bring 200 audited manufacturers to the NEC

Source Home and Gift, the international sourcing show from Hyve Group, has detailed a comprehensive line-up of over 200 audited manufacturers from across the world, including China, India, Peru, Egypt, Europe, and the USA. These manufacturers will join the inaugural show’s line-up as it prepares to run parallel to Spring Fair at the Birmingham NEC from 5th to 8th February. Source Home and Gift will showcase homewares, furniture, gifts, toys, textiles, packaging, and stationery and greetings producers and manufacturers from over 20 countries. The idea of the show is to bring companies recognised by Hyve Group as ‘responsible’ in their sourcing under one roof. Suzanne Ellingham, director of sourcing of Source Home and Gift, said: “It’s important to me that our show is truly international and that we have a fantastic mix of large-scale manufacturing capabilities, balanced with beautiful handicrafts from around the world. “What is even more important is that this show is a trusted platform. Every manufacturer, or maker, that exhibits at the show is able to work in the UK and supply to Europe to our standards. We are bringing the best global responsible manufacturers to the NEC in February and we are working with governments worldwide to find the best exporters with good, safe, working practices. “We are taking the pain our of global sourcing and saving buyers flights around the world by bringing manufacturers right to them.” As a bare minimum, exhibitors must have a Sedex audit. Visitors will discover a Senegalese pavilion with a showcase of six artisan producers specialising in home, gift, and handicraft products, as well as three Indian pavilions and a Chinese pavilion from the Jiaxing province. Other global producers will include Journey, Asha Handicrafts, Soma, Camel Trade, Sirohi, Seven Seas, and AMSA Exports.
