Look out for the University Games new environmental logo on packaging.

The games, puzzles and gift specialist is taking significant steps towards a greener future and has created a new ‘Taking Steps to Protect Our Planet’ logo that will help enforce its message. University Games offers an impressive portfolio of over 700 games, puzzles and gifts, including family games such as Smart Ass, Perudo, Sort it Out and Now that’s What I Call Music and licensed games and puzzles from Game of Thrones, The World of David Walliams, Horrid Henry, Where’s Wally, Horrible Histories and Roald Dahl. The majority of its products already utilise cardboard in either their production or packaging process, but the company is taking this further with a commitment to reducing single-use plastics and removing shrink wrap. According to Richard Wells, managing director at University Games, “Environmental concerns have always been high on our agenda but now, as individuals and as a business, we all have to do more every day to help protect our planet. Our commitment is to actively move to significantly reduce single use plastic throughout the product and packaging process, removing shrink wrap and all other single use plastic from all our games and puzzles wherever possible. We will also ensure that our outer packaging and product packaging are fully recycled and fully recyclable wherever possible, so keep a look out for our new ‘Taking Steps to Protect Our Planet’ logo.”
