LaundRE and Reskinned Factory visit | Circularity in practice

Join POC to visit LaundRE, the UK’s first and only circular denim hub, and second-hand fashion hub, Reskinned, operating in Canning Town, East London.

LaundRE has the capability to take used or unsold denim and repurpose, refinish, rewash or remodel it for commercial resale. Owner and CEO, Salli Deighton is a passionate denim expert who has worked for and provided services to some of the largest and most profitable fashion businesses in the UK & Europe.The hub has been designed to minimise water consumption in denim washing, harvest and recycle its water, and run on renewable energy sources. The hub utilises the latest ozone washing and laser technology to create new and innovative product from old, building sales potential from what would otherwise be waste (landfill).

Reskinned are linking up existing solutions with new tech ideas to create more options for people and brands to rehome unwanted clothes. Through resale, repair and innovative recycling, Reskinned is realising a more sustainable fashion future.
