Congratulations to the winners of the POC SDG Awards

Yesterday (Wednesday 5 November), the POC Community came together for our annual conference, and what a day it was – not least for the fantastic winners of the POC SDG Awards, given out by Caroline Petit, deputy director of the United Nations Regional Information Centre.

Across the Products of Change Community, more than 1,500 individuals are leading sustainability action within their businesses — building the systems, tools, and culture needed to future-proof our industry.

But among them are those who go above and beyond — the true pioneers, innovators, and changemakers who are setting the pace for us all. The POC SDG Awards shine a light on their incredible achievements.

Created once again by the wonderful team at Waterhaul, the awards trophies are made from traceable marine plastic. Read more about their creation here.

After an introduction by POC’s founder and CEO, Helena Mansell-Stopher, Caroline Petit, deputy director of the United Nations Regional Information Centre, accompanied Kathryn Brand, POC editor and content manager to announce and hand out the awards.

“This is our chance to pause, reflect, and celebrate the incredible people and organisations who are driving transformation across our community.

“As you’ve heard throughout the morning, real change doesn’t happen in isolation — it happens when we come together with shared purpose, collaboration, and courage.

“And these awards recognise exactly that: those who are pushing boundaries, turning ambition into action, and showing us what’s possible when sustainability is built into the heart of business,” said Caroline.

The first award celebrates SDG 17 — Partnerships for the Goals, which sits at the very heart of Products of Change. Because no single organisation can deliver transformation alone — progress happens through collaboration, trust, and shared learning.

This award honours those who have embodied the power of partnership — connecting innovation, technology, and impact to accelerate positive change across the industry.

And this year, we were delighted to recognise not just one, but four winners who exemplify this spirit of collaboration and partnership. Together, these organisations are demonstrating what true partnership looks like — from measuring impact and data transparency, to connecting purpose-led businesses and educating through action.

Congratulations to our SDG 17 winners — Eden Project, Dayrize, Pure Table Top, and Fabacus.

Our second award focuses on SDG 12 — Responsible Consumption and Production, recognising businesses that are rethinking how products are made, packaged, and delivered — creating better systems that reduce impact and drive circularity.

This award celebrates a company that has shown exceptional leadership in embedding sustainability into the very fabric of its operations — designing for efficiency, reducing waste, and proving that what’s good for the planet can also be good for business.

Through their partnership with The LEGO Group, this company has redefined what responsible production looks like — dramatically reducing packaging impact, lowering costs, and setting a new benchmark for progress across the licensing supply chain.

Our third award celebrates SDG 13 — Climate Action. This award recognises the businesses that are not only measuring and reducing their emissions but are actively leading by example — investing in innovation and transparency to help the entire industry progress toward our shared climate goals.

This company have shown remarkable commitment to climate action — embedding carbon reduction into their product design and operational strategy, and demonstrating that creativity and climate responsibility can absolutely go hand in hand.

Congratulations to Moose Toys, award winners of SDG 13.

And our final award celebrates SDG 9 — Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. This category recognises forward-thinking businesses that are using innovation to reshape systems, develop sustainable infrastructure, and inspire change through scale and influence.

Our winners this year have shown extraordinary leadership in embedding sustainability within one of the most creative and far-reaching sectors of all — music and entertainment. This company is using its platform to influence millions, integrating sustainability across their operations, and demonstrating the power of culture to drive transformation.

Congratulations to the winners of SDG 9: Universal Music Group and Bravado.

A huge congratulations to all of our winners — and to every single one of you in the Products of Change Community who continues to push forward, challenge norms, and make progress every single day.

Together, you’re not just transforming your businesses — you’re reshaping an entire industry for the better.
