Informa Markets launches Sustainable Manufacturing Expo

Informa Markets Engineering has lifted the lid on a new event dedicated to the latest technologies, innovations, and thought leadership for progressing sustainable manufacturing forwards and into the future.

Pinpointed as one of the top emerging technologies shaping industry today, sustainable manufacturing has, in recent years, found itself spurred by government regulations and reporting directives as well as growing pressure from investors now factoring Environmental, Social, and Governance data into their decision-making processes.

It’s also an area being heavily influenced by customers who are growing more discerning, prioritising environmental considerations when purchasing.

Changes to global legislation is also shifting the manufacturing landscape and with the implementation of new regulations like the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive in the European Union and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission’s Climate Disclosure Rules all anticipated to come into full effect in the next two years, companies are facing greater incentives to act upon their sustainability plans now.

Informa Markets Engineering’s Sustainable Manufacturing Expo – earmarked as an ‘exclusive tradeshow and conference focused on the sector’s tech and innovation, energy conservation, and manufacturing – will therefore make its world premiere on February 4th 2025 when it will be held at the Anaheim Convention Centre in California.

The show floor will feature over 150 exhibitors offering solutions like digital twin technology, biomaterials, IOT sensors, automation, prototyping, and lifecycle packaging to name a few.

Meanwhile, thought leadership and educational content will focus on regulatory reporting guidance, case studies examining success in implementation, product demos, and expert insights from industry authorities.

“Manufacturers seek guidance and expertise now more than ever to incorporate sustainable processes into all areas of their operations and may lack awareness of the tools and resources available to them,” said Melissa Magestro, VP at Informa Markets Engineering and the founder of Sustainable Manufacturing Expo.

“Our goal launching this dedicated event addressing Sustainable Manufacturing is to provide leaders and companies with the platform to successfully discover, adopt, and responsibly integrate initiatives for both long- and short-term needs that ultimately drive bottom line revenue with efficiencies.”
