The brand, licensing, and consumer products landscape is shifting.
Forever a hot bed of innovation and creativity, the industry has – in recent years – witnessed an emerging groundswell in Gen Z and Millennials leading not only businesses but with it the industry into brand new areas of development.
This Spring, Products of Change wants to celebrate the Next Generation Leaders of Industry Sustainability by celebrating those that are driving sustainable development and positive change across their companies, across their products, and across the industry.
And this is your chance to celebrate with us. We want you – our Products of Change membership community – to nominate your Next Generation Leaders of Sustainability in Brands, Licensing, Products, and Retail and celebrate with us the talent setting new parameters for our vibrant and creative industries.
Products of Change will showcase and celebrate this talent in a special feature in the upcoming Spring 2024 Sustainability Edit as it heads to Las Vegas Licensing Expo.
If there’s a talented individual on your team helping to drive the sustainability conversation forward and turning that conversation into action across your business or supply chains, we want to know about them.
Gen z and Millennial employees shaping sustainability in business
According to recent research, the US workforce alone is now tipped to hit some 93.3 million workers falling within the Gen Z and Millennial age range by 2025. Meanwhile, a recent study from Deloitte found that 55% of Gen Z and 54% of Millennial employees now go the length to research a company’s environmental impact and policies before accepting a job from them.
Additionally, over 40% of Gen Z and Millennial workers now plan on investing in energy efficiency and electric vehicles while around 20% have switched to vegan or vegetarian diets.
As these workers begin to move into roles of leadership, modern sensibilities and concerns around the environment will continue to heavily influence business operations.
Join us in celebrating the talent driving this forward into the next generation of business and send us your nominations today.
