Products of Change partners with WFIM for Earth Month special Virtual Sustainability Summit

Products of Change has partnered up with Women in Food Industry Management to bring some of the biggest names in food, packaging, and sustainability insights, including Unilever, McCain, and McDonald’s to the global stage all in celebration of Earth Month this April.

Taking place on Friday, 28th April at 9.00am EST (1.00pm GMT), the Virtual Sustainability Summit will bring pioneering innovators and industry leaders together under one roof to explore the most pressing topics impacting the global food and consumer product industries right now.

A jam-packed agenda of panel sessions and guest speakers promises to deliver an eye-opening insight into subjects spanning regenerative food farming, circularity in apparel, sustainable packaging innovation, and even compostable underwear as it brings together names from across the Canadian, North American, and UK consumer industries.

Joining the event’s line-up of speakers will be Products of Change’s Ambassador for Children and co-founder of Kids Industries, Gary Pope; Products of Change’s Ambassador for the Circular Economy, James George, and Products of Change’s Ambassador for Fashion in the US, Jessica Lenhart.

They will be joined by Jessica Newman, senior director of agriculture and sustainability at McCain Foods, Ashwin Ramesh, head of sustainability and ESG strategy at McDonald’s Canada, and Naniss Gadel-Rab, general manager of nutrition at Unilever Canada.

Curated and hosted by Products of Change’s Ambassador for North America and Canada and WFIM board director, Brenda Seto, the WFIM Virtual Sustainability Summit will also feature a special keynote talk from the global business innovator, George Minakakis.

“We are delighted to be bringing together such a high calibre line-up of speakers and panel sessions for our all-day Virtual Sustainability Summit later this month,” said event curator Brenda Seto. “The agenda promises to deliver some deeply interesting discussions around sustainability across all our industries and I cannot wait to share it all with audiences tuning in on Friday, 28th April.

“Both Products of Change and Women in Food Industry Management are communities built on connection, collaboration, and the encouragement of action and this is precisely what we are hoping to bring to the table later this month and celebrate Earth Month in real style.”

Tickets for the event are priced at $65 Canadian (roughly £39). Recipients of this newsletter can apply the code asmp23 for a discounted rate of $30 (roughly £17).
