Pure Table Top plates up an award for its Eleanor Bowmer collection

Last week (2nd October), the Excellence in Housewares Awards were held, taking place at The Royal Lancaster London, hosted by comedian, Ignacio Lopez. Products of Change member, Pure Table Top, with its Eleanor Bowmer Electric Coast Collection, received the Licensing Award, presented by category sponsor, Richard Pink, MD at Pink Key Licensing.

The Licensing Award category shortlist was full of excellent contenders, including Cath Kidston Spring/Summer 24 Collection from Captivate Brands; Disney Home x Prestige Mickey & Friends Inspired Bakeware from Meyer Group; Disney Signature Collection from Thermos; Emma Bridgewater Wildflowers Collection from Elitetins; The Snowman Alpine Adventure Range from Eddingtons; V&A Kitchenware Range from Museums & Galleries; Vintage Kellogg’s by Dexam Pop Art Range from Dexam; and Yvonne Ellen Spring/Summer 24 Collection from Captivate.

Yet Eleanor Bowmer and Pure Table Top rose triumphant. Manchester-based Eleanor Bowmer is a textile designer and illustrator, known for her bright and quirky hand-painted prints, which she brought together with Pure Table Tops’ dinnerware, serve pieces, glassware, table linens, and accessories.

“I was absolutely thrilled to win the award for best licensing brand alongside Pure Table Top,” commented Eleanor Bowmer. “It has been the perfect collaboration and it’s enabled me to bring my designs to life through Pure’s expertise. The team have worked tirelessly to make this a unique and innovative collection and it’s been a dream come true for that to be recognised.

“It highlights both my design approach and Pure’s commitment to creativity in homeware and marks a major success for our partnership. I can feel the best is still yet to come!”

Pure Table Top prides itself on creating pieces that are designed to be the center of the table but also not hidden away and only saved for special occasions, and it chooses brand collaborations that support this ethos.

“We are really proud of our partnership with Eleanor Bowmer. From the moment we had our first meeting, we knew that it was a collaboration of dreams!” said Raven Sprague, senior brand and sales manager at Pure Table Top.

“So much work has gone into the Electric Coast collection; we wanted to bring Pure’s passion for quality and design to the offer and we think this really shows in the range. It has been such a fun range to develop and now that it has been recognised with the Licensing Award, it’s the cherry on the top!”

As well as being a Products of Change Member, Pure Table Top is also a certified B Corp. It prioritises accountability for its impact and closely monitors its supply chains to ensure responsible sourcing and sustainability for both people and planet.
