Roy Lowe & Sons appoints new sustainability lead ‘to keep the team accountable’

The character gift brand and licensed apparel specialist, Roy Lowe & Sons has appointed a new sustainability lead as the family-owned business strives to reach ambitious new goals to reduce its environmental impact.

Tiffany Light – who started with Roy Lowe & Sons back in 2022 when she joined as Assistant Garment Technologist – took up the newly created position in January 2024 and will be responsible for ‘keeping the team accountable for what we are doing.’

Working alongside the Roy Lowe & Sons marketing team, Tiffany is currently pulling together the company’s journey to date with sustainable development as well as mapping out the team’s pathway for future development.

She joined the popular licensing industry outfit in 2022 having worked with the fabrics, leather, and furniture specialist Parker Knoll Upholstery for eight years.

A member of the Products of Change community, Roy Lowe & Sons takes a forward thinking approach to sustainability in licensing with efforts that include using materials that can be recycled and reused, opting for wooden pegs over plastic kimbles, and taking an environmentally aware approach to packaging by wrapping products in tissue over plastic.

With Tiffany now leading the company’s sustainable development we can anticipate further news on the topic in the coming weeks.
