The sustainability in paper conversation will continue next month when Karin Morell, project manager at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden will join the Products of Change platform to talk members through her area of expertise: biodiversity and the bioeconomy.
The session will be held on Wednesday, 5 July 2023 and will take place at 4.00pm GMT.
In her role at RISE, Karin works across issues related to agriculture, food production, and consumption and its impact on global biodiversity. Her discussion will focus on the paper and publishing sector and the steps that can be taken to reduce negative impact on biodiversity and encourage a more positive one.
The latest in the recently-launched Paper Workstream, headed up by Duncan Shearer, Products of Change’s Ambassador for the Paper industry, this session will be held at 4.00pm GMT on Wednesday, 5 July as the industry continues its mission to develop a cross-sector collaboration to support a sustainable future for products and packaging made from paper.
In her session, Karin will explore the demands brand owners can make of their paper producers to increase their positive impact and explore the newly adopted Science Based Targets for Nature initiative and the tools available to use.
