Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids has extended the submission deadline for the Bologna Licensing Awards 2026.
Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids, the Licensing Event within the global leading children’s publishing and content event, Bologna Children’s Book Fair, has announced the submission deadline for the Bologna Licensing Awards 2026, has been extended to 15 February 2026.
The Bologna Licensing Awards is the industry’s only international awards programme exclusively dedicated to recognising outstanding licensed products and projects for children, teens and young adults, celebrating innovation and excellence across multiple categories. This year’s competition is open to all projects and products launched in 2025.
Key features and why licensors and licensees can’t miss to attend:
- Open to all: Participation is available to the entire international licensing community, with no restrictions on the number of submissions per company.
- New category: Introduction of “The Best Transmedia Project” award for brands developed and launched in 2025.
- Enhanced visibility: Finalists and winners will benefit from a showcase area at the Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids and Bologna Children’s Book Fair, dedicated editorial coverage in the Spring issue of Licensing Magazine, and promotion through the show’s media partners
- Industry engagement: Retailers, licensees, and press will be invited to discover finalist and winning projects through dedicated communications and guided tours
- Expert jury: An international jury will convene in person to evaluate submissions, with the option for participants to submit physical samples for live assessment by 20 February 2026
