POC Member, Gibsons Games, the Surrey based jigsaw puzzles and games company, has shared its 2025 Impact report.
From Gibsons’ Kings Award for Enterprise, to supporting the careers of young people and delivering on their brand promise, 2025 was an eventful year.

As a certified B Corporation, tracking progress is an important part of Gibsons’ people and planet journey, ensuring they not only continue to improve, but keep it central to who they are as a brand.
Kate Gibson comments: “An impact report tells a story. It speaks of who you are and how you’ve delivered on the things that matter during the previous year. With our values at its heart, our 2025 report proudly reflects Gibsons in every sense. It’s been a true team effort.”

Kate highlights her standout achievements from the Impact Report. The first being Gibson’s recognition with a King’s Award for Enterprise for excellence in Sustainable Development.
“This award is an incredible honour for Gibsons. It celebrates the ongoing efforts of our team, past and present, who have shaped our sustainability model and prioritised how we can do business better. I couldn’t be prouder!” Kate Gibson, MD of Gibsons.
Secondly, how the company has supported the careers of young people. In 2025, Gibsons employed both an apprentice and a marketing intern, providing opportunity for those new in their careers.
“I’ve enjoyed gaining hands-on experience, learning new things every day, and becoming more confident in myself and my abilities,” commented Tania, apprentice at Gibsons.
“My internship at Gibsons gave me the functional skills which I can now take forward to any future job,” commented Sophie, intern at Gibsons.
The final achievement Kate highlighted from the report was Gibsons’ full transition to entirely plastic free puzzles. All Gibsons’ jigsaws are now produced in paper bags, meaning the puzzles are completely plastic free, and are made from FSC recycled cardboard which can in turn be recycled at the end of life. This drive has also extended to more of Gibsons’ product ranges with a 100% card and paper card game and Art File classic games in cardboard with sustainably sourced wooden pieces.
