Joined by POC’s Nicola Webster at France Licensing Day last week, Marina Narishkin began her new role representing the French contingent of the POC community.
“With much excitement, I am honored to announce that I have accepted the position as the French Ambassador to POC. Totally aligned with my engagements, I will be the point person for France on information relating to the brand, product, and licensing industry’s transition to a more sustainable and resilient future,” Marina Narishkin commented.
Marina joins our existing team of ambassadors:
- Andrea Green – North America
- Brenda Seto – North America
- Damian Hopkins CBE – (Radius/PDS brands) Retail
- Julia Redman BSc AFHEA – Fashion
- Simon Gresswell – Sport
- Duncan Shearer – Publishing
- Lian Huddle – APAC
After studying in 7 countries, Marina started her career in public relations then at 27, accepted the management of Copyright Promotions Licensing Group France, and helped grow the company internationally with her colleagues. It is now a stock listed Canadian company thanks to the final buy out by Wildbrain. After redesigning the IPs, structure and strategy of TF1 Licensing & doubling its turnover, she joined the oldest European independent animation studio Millimages to head up TV production, distribution, tv sales, digital divisions, e-commerce, Chinese office and the 15 agents across the world with a fantastic team of people.
As a POC Ambassador in France, Marina will represent Products of Change as its work in the region, and vocalise and advocate for the challenges and opportunities in the area. “I hope POC brings answers and support to France, as well as reasons to gather the French Licensing industry, media, sports, and entertainment companies together to find solutions for a better way of producing and manufacturing. As the saying goes “Where there’s a will there’s a way”; and I really believe the French are willing,” commented Marina.
Helena Mansell-Stopher, POC’s founder and CEO added on Marina’s appointment: “Being a trusted and well respected part of the industry for so many years and achieving some amazing milestones in both business and parliament, Marina will for sure impact the achievements of our mission here at Products of Change, in transitioning the industry to reduce its environmental impact, building capabilities and creating the future of how we, as an industry will operate.”
We are delighted to welcome Marina to the team and look forward to our work together. If you are based in the France region and would like to reach out to Marina, contact hello@productsofchange.com and we can connect you.
