Products of Change kicks off 2024 Packaging Working Group with first online meeting

Products of Change will be hosting its first Packaging workstream meeting of 2024 on Tuesday, 30th January from 2.00pm until 3.00pm and is inviting all POC Members to register for the session online now.

The hour-long working group session will be led by Products of Change Ambassador for Packaging, Mike Swain who will offer attendees an update on the latest detail surrounding the Extended Producer Responsibility tax as well as field any questions around further upcoming legislation and their implications on the packaging sector.

The coming year is set to see a major shift across the business landscape with the formal introduction of new legislative measures designed to push businesses towards improved sustainability. Incoming changes include the introduction of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, Extended Producer Responsibility tax, and a tightening of rules and regulations around on-pack and on-product labelling and issues surrounding greenwashing.

Products of Change’s Packaging Workstream meeting on 30th January will look to explore some of the most pressing regulations set to impact those working across all areas of industry. The meeting will be relevant for those working in the packaging or design department across all industries but is reserved for Products of Change members only.
