Celebrating 75 years this year, the UK retail trade event, Spring Fair, will be held 2-5th February 2025, at the NEC Birmingham.
Spring Fair will bring together retailers, suppliers, and buyers from homeware, gifting and fashion to create new business opportunities. With engagement from brands, partners, and retailers on the subject of sustainability reaching a high at last year’s Spring Fair, after another 12 months of innovation and industry pressure to create change, this year’s installment is set to continue this progression.
This includes Spring Fair’s ‘Sustainability Trail’ which highlights brands and suppliers focused on a sustainability goal. Spring Fair is celebrating these companies with its Trail and highlighting the shift to more responsible practices, whether it be materials sourcing, product design, the manufacturing process or the packaging. It begins within the Exhibitor Zone, where exhibitors can fill out their sustainable actions which becomes part of the exhibitor profile and digital trail at the show.

Not to be missed, are the two talks that Helena Mansell-Stopher, founder and CEO of Products of Change, will be presenting at Spring Fair.
The first, a ‘Sustainability Masterclass: Navigating Impact, Legislation, and Solutions.’ This will be held in the Masterclass Studio on Tuesday 4th February at 12pm and will provide a comprehensive masterclass on sustainability. The audience will gain insights into the key areas that shape our environmental impact, explore emerging legislation and trends that are driving change, and discover practical solutions to accelerate their sustainability journey. This session is designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to make meaningful progress towards a greener future.
Later in the day on Tuesday 4th February at 3:45pm, Helena will host another session in the Licensing Lab, a new space for this year, designed for networking, learning and growth for licensors, licensees, retailers and service providers, created in partnership with POC member and global technology business, Fabacus. Helena’s talk in the lab will be on ‘Driving Sustainable Change in the Brand and Licensing Industry.’ It will enable attendees to discover how to lead sustainable transformation within the industry with Products of Change, the only organisation dedicated to guiding this sector through the complexities of sustainability. Audience members will learn about the key challenges impacting the industry, explore upcoming legislation shaping the future, and gain practical solutions to support their sustainability journey. Join Products of Change to navigate this critical transition and drive meaningful, lasting change.
Immediately after this session, Licensing Source is hosting networking drinks in the Licensing Lab, providing the opportunity to continue the conversation with licensing industry peers.
