The Light Fund Summer Treasure Hunt raises £7,600

Some 200 industry executives took to the streets around Farringdon, London last week (17 July) for the annual summer treasure hunt, raising £7,600 for The Light Fund, reports Samantha Loveday, Licensing Source.

The popular event saw execs from companies including Paramount, Dependable Solutions, Panini, Rainbow Productions, Mischievous Wolf, All3Media, Blues Group, Licensing Link Europe, Imagine8, Character.com, Danilo, M&S, Aykroyds, Jazwares, Brand Collective, Hasbro, Two Daughters Entertainment, Rockpool Licensing, Poetic Brands, Roy’s Boys, and Penguin Random House among others following a route marked by a series of local pubs and featuring various questions and challenges.

Sponsors included Dreamtex, Reemsborko, The Entertainer, POC, Informa, Aykroyds, Brands Untapped, Method and Rainbow Productions.

After a tie at the top of the table between three teams, following a tie breaker the eventual winners were Pup Tales and Pyjama Sales – a team made up of executives from TDP and Character.com (and apparently last seen celebrating at a karaoke bar).

At the other end of the table was the team of Imagine8 and Hasbro, which took away the wooden spoon.
