Willsow pledges to reuse 95% of Spring Fair stand for POS units

The plantable book specialist, Willsow is setting out to change the narrative around ‘trade show waste’ with a new approach to stand-building that could just set a new industry trend while working to reduce its association environmental impact.

This season, the team will be repurposing the Dufaylite display boards from its Spring fair 2024 display by turning them into countertop display units for its collection of plantable books. The team plans to reuse up to 95% of stand materials used this year.

The initiative has been introduced not only in recognition of the waste associated with trade show stand building but also to keep costs down when it comes to trade show stand builds.

“Creating to attend a trade show is becoming more expensive so reusing our display will help us save on those additional costs,” said the team. “Our new style of POS has been designed to be more cost-effective and even more eco-friendly with the use of less material.”

Over the course of the show, Willsow will be using the stand display to showcase an array of new concept products as well as its recent partnership with Aardman and the introduction of an official Shaun the Sheep plantable book. The book has been shortlisted in this year’s Gift of the Year Awards.

Other recent additions to the Willsow portfolio are its Plantable Calendar, Plantable Crackers, and Plantable Gift Bags.
