POC sizzle on screen at the Licensing Awards 2026

Friday Thoughts | Celebrating the wins and what’s to come

The Licensing Awards are always something of a highlight for POC each year – as, I am sure, they are for many others.

Joining so many from the POC network to celebrate their achievements from the past year is such a joy, and, as always, we are proud to see so many POC Members among the finalists – and winners(!) – of the awards.

We believe this is no coincidence, as they are the companies striving to do things better, push their businesses into the future, and with this comes the innovative creativity and drive that these awards celebrate.

So a huge congratulations to the POC Member winners:

Asda, Science Museum, StudioCanal, Mattel, BBC Studios, Rights & Brands, Character.com, Fashion UK, Netflix, Tesco, Hasbro, Warner Bros, Magic Light, and Paramount.

And a congratulations to all those that were finalists – an exceptional achievement in itself.

POC was also afforded a wonderful shout out at the beginning of the awards by Jakki Brown, MD at Max Publishing (which owns and organises the awards), sharing with the audience about the POC Partner Maturity Index. After its first phase in spring, we are excited to be delivering the first round of insights in the coming weeks to the POC network so stay tuned as we will shortly be announcing webinar dates for you to sign-up to.

We at POC know it is a revolutionary bit of technology – and we are already seeing its impacts across our network – but for it to be announced as such at the event was a fantastic opportunity to continue to build the awareness of the tool, as the more who use it, the more beneficial it is to the whole industry.

The whole POC Team relished seeing so many familiar faces at the Licensing Awards, as well as meeting many new ones. And it won’t be long before we have another opportunity for this at Brand Licensing Europe (6-8 Oct).

POC will be exhibiting at stand D254, with a whole host of innovations on display for attendees to check-out, as well as an unmissable session on the License Global Stage on 8 Oct at 11:00 am with Andrew Xeni and Philippa Grogan from Nobody’s Child.

Do book in a meeting with us if you haven’t already! We are keen to see as many of our Members as possible throughout the three days – to hear about your wins and upcoming plans, and continue to showcase the resources and support POC can provide.

Contact hello@productsofchange.com to book in a meeting with a member of the team.

As a buzzy week draws to a close, we are looking straight ahead to next, which is also looking just as full and exciting.

We will be at London Packaging Week, where Helena will be recording a live POC Podcast with Steve Sheffield from Lush on Wednesday 16 Sept at 11:05. And the following day, Ruby and I will be at the YPN Coffee and Connect at Universal Music Group, followed by the Root Cause exhibition at The Mills Fabrica, a showcase of garments and accessories made from discarded textiles and fabrics. Meanwhile Nicola and our fashion ambassador, Julia Redman will be at The Real Circularity Summit, all about circularity in the fashion industry.

Look our for our updates from these events in next week’s Friday Thoughts.

In the meantime, have a wonderful weekend,

Kathryn and Team POC
