The Products of Change SDG Awards return with climate comedian host

As part of the annual Products of Change Conference on 11 November, POC will once again be co-hosting its SDG Awards, recognising the individuals and companies actioning the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Across the Products of Change Community, more than 1,500 individuals are leading sustainability action within their businesses – building the systems, tools, and culture needed to future-proof our industry.

But among them are those who go above and beyond: the true pioneers, innovators, and changemakers who are setting the pace for us all. The POC SDG Awards shine a light on their incredible achievements.

The awards are aligned with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, a universal collection of objectives towards the protection of the planet, eradication of poverty, reduced inequality, and peaceful societies.

This year, POC is excited to welcome internationally award-winning climate comedian and speaker, Stuart Goldsmith, to host the awards and open the Conference. Known for his sharp, intelligent stand-up that tackles the climate crisis head-on, Stuart’s TV credits include performing stand up on Live at the Apollo (BBC) and Conan (TBS).

Stuart performs his climate comedy at eco festivals and at corporate events, to organisations of all sizes. The purpose is to engage attendees in the important issue of sustainability and climate change; to send out a call to action and alleviate our collective dread by using comedy to tackle a very serious subject.

He has appeared at high profile climate festivals and events including Net Zero Festival, Blue Earth Summit and Edie 25 in the UK and multiple appearances at GreenBiz in the US. He recently hosted ‘An Emergency Board Meeting Slumber Party’ – a special climate-themed show in LA at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival. Stu performed at multiple events across New York Climate Week, including being interviewed about his work at the United Nations Headquarters.

The POC SDG Awards highlight four key SDGs, most relevant to the brand and licensing industry, for its awards: SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production, SDG 13 – Climate Action, SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.

Past winners include: The Eden Project, Dayrize, Pure Table Top, Fabacus, RDP Creative, Moose Toys, Universal Music Group, and Bravado, the LEGO Group, the Natural History Museum, BBC Studios and more.

In true POC style, the trophies are not your average trophies, and themselves tell a story about circularity and responsible resource management. This year, for the first time, Products of Change has partnered with Brothers Make, two brothers who design and manufacture ranges of recycled plastic products, such as discarded pens for POC Member, Tom’s Studio.

Inspired by this project, this year’s awards will be made from the discarded broken or run-out pens collected in collaboration with schools across the country. Brothers Make strives to shift perceptions on plastic waste, encourage people to ditch single-use and move towards a truly circular economy.

Whether you’re a retailer, brand owner, manufacturer, supplier, designer or innovator, the Products of Change Conference 2026 is where the industry’s biggest challenges become practical solutions – and where the partnerships shaping the future begin.

Tickets are available now with both in-person and digital attendance options, allowing delegates from around the world to be part of the day’s insights, discussions and networking. POC Members receive a 20% discount on the ticket price when logged into the platform.

The event is made possible by leaders in the brand and licensing industry that pledge their support for this invaluable event and the role it serves in collaborative and tangible sustainable advancement.

This year’s supporters include: Dreamtex, Character World, Warner Bros. Discovery, BBC Studios, Natural History Museum, TDP Textiles, Mattel, Fabacus, Brand Licensing Europe, The Wombles, Bravado, RDP Creative, ESCP, Disney Consumer Products, Worldly, Poetic Brands, Hasbro, Rights & Brands, Teemill, Sharp End (io.tt), Sun City, Rainbow Productions and UK Greetings.
