Up to five free tickets to the Products of Change Conference (POCC) on 6th November, will be available to ensure this crucial generation are part of the conversations that affect the future of their industry.
Young people are fundamentally drivers of change. Whether it be through their voting power as a consumer group or active voices on social media, they are a group holding older generations to a higher standard, especially when it comes to sustainability. At the end of the day, it is the young people and their children who are going to be the ones most impacted by the decisions made by previous generations, the decisions that are spurring the climate crisis.
With a focus on the future of the global brand licensing and retail industry, young professionals and leaders are emerging that are driven by a passion for sustainable change. Earlier this year, in our last issue, POC celebrated a number of individuals who had stood out amongst the crowd and are already making this change. This included: Jakob Max Hamann, business development and sustainability governance of Lego partnerships, licensing, and publishing, at the Lego Group; Courtney Ward-Hunting, sustainability manager, The Jamie Oliver Group; Anna Dyet, net zero and zero waste coordinator, Lush; Jason Singh, head of sustainability, Pure Table Top; and Corinne Duckworth, commercial executive, Dreamtex, and winner of the UK Rising Star Award at the Licensing Awards.
With the Conference approaching, Products of Change wants to continue to celebrate the achievements and roles of these young leaders in our industry, and ensure they have a seat at the table when discussions are being had that influence the future of the sector. Therefore, POC is giving away five free tickets to the Products of Change Conference (POCC) on 6th November to the next generation of leaders in sustainability in global brand licensing and retail.
To apply for one of these five tickets, you must be under the age of 30 and send a few lines about what you do and why you would like to attend the POC Conference to kathryn@productsofchange.com by Wednesday 23rd October.
POC is establishing a Next Generation group, led by POC editor, Kathryn Brand, to facilitate connection and networking among the young professionals in the industry and collectively push sustainability efforts forward, led by POC Editor, Kathryn Brand. After the conference, we will gather for our first meeting, date TBC. To register your interest, contact kathryn@productsofchange.com.
