Homewares brand, Composty, took home the trophy for the Contribution To The Environment Award at this year’s Clean and Tidy Awards, presented during the specialist consumer show – the Clean and Tidy Home Show.
Taking place at ExCel, London, last weekend (18 – 19 October 2024), the exhibition offers homewares brands the opportunity to engage with consumers across multiple specialisms including home organisation, cleaning and more. Inherent to the show is its focus on encouraging the use of environmental and sustainable products in the house and home.
The Clean and Tidy Awards rounded off the show perfectly, with Products of Change proud to sponsor the Contribution To The Environment Award which saw finalists including Clean Living, Composty, EcoBag, Eco for ALL and Fine Tuned Wardrobe.
The eventual winner was Composty’s Magic Pop-Up Eco Sponge range, made from natural cellulose, providing an eco-friendly, long-lasting tool that comes in plastic free packaging and after an extended usage life, become fully compostable.

Presenting the award for Products of Change was Spencer Willis, son of Rob Willis – director and co-owner of Products of Change Media. Upon receiving the top spot, joint founders of Composty, Helen and Matt Guest told POC: “We created this to do our bit for the environment, for our children’s future, so to win this award has been really pleasing for us as it confirms our values and exactly why we set upon this journey. We’re thrilled that the judges have recognised us in these awards for a second year running.”
