Since we released our last magazine in Autumn 2024, it’s been non-stop over at POC – but what a fantastically crazy few months it has been with numerous tradeshows, awards, and most recently our members fashion meeting.

And, of course, it has been pretty hectic in the wider industry and indeed the global scene, with new legislation and amendments being announced in some regions, and legislation and sustainable progress being reversed in others, causing some uncertainty as we traverse closer to our 2030 targets.

But the perseverance and adaptability of organisations has been palpable and invigorating with great strides being taken every day across the brand and licensing industry.

At POC, we are looking forward to showcasing a handful of these at Licensing Expo this year, as part of our SDG Zone on the show floor. As a special Expo edition, you can find our show preview on page 37 of this new issue, detailing the educational offerings we’ll have for you at the show, as well as a list of all our fantastic members that will be exhibiting at this year’s Licensing Expo.

From groundbreaking innovations in the fashion space, a toy industry that is reimagining the status quo, an expert insight into legislation updates on both sides of the pond, and a glimpse into POC’s brand new Packaging Guide, this edition offers a bit of everything and will arm you as we head into the midway point of 2025, with information, connection, and hopefully a bit of inspiration.

Beyond that, we have a couple of in-depth interviews with industry heavy weights, such as David Sprei from Penguin Ventures, who our lead advisor, James George sat down with to have an honest conversation about the company’s journey so far, and how the most important thing to do on that journey is to start it.

With exclusive editorial input from the likes of Mattel, Nobody’s Child, Difuzed, Moose, Tottenham Hotspur, grab a cup of tea (or your beverage of choice) and have a leaf through. And do get in touch (kathryn@productsofchange.com) if you want to be part of the Autumn/Winter 2025 magazine – our BLE and POC Conference edition, so another not to miss!
