POC Members dominate the Sustainability finalists of the Licensing Awards

The Licensing Awards ‘Best Sustainable Licensed Product’ category has seen an almost clean sweep of POC Members across its finalists list, demonstrating the hard work that POC Members and their partners are putting in to future-proof their product categories.

Sponsored by POC Member, BBC Studios, The Sustainable Licensed Product Award is for a licensed item or range of any discipline and recognises and rewards the credentials of a licensed product/range on a sustainability front. The products had to be launched into UK retail between 1 June 2024 and 31 May 2025.

The winner of this category and every other Licensing Award will be announced on Tuesday 16 September 2025 at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

The POC Members contributing to the finalists are: Penguin Ventures, Disney, Eden Project, Pure Table Top, Fabacus, Dayrize, Hasbro, RHS, Willsow, RSPB, Gibson Games, Bravado, Teemill, Magic Light, and Playpress.

“We are incredibly proud to be the first homeware collection to boast the digital product passport and hope that we inspire other brands in our industry to follow in our footsteps.”

Tracey Smith, commercial partnerships and licensing manager, Eden Project, added:

“We’re thrilled that our Eden Project x Purer Home range has been named a finalist in the ‘Best Sustainable Licensed Product’ category at this year’s Licensing Awards.  Pure Table Top truly care about the way they do business, which is why we’re delighted to partner with them to develop this beautiful range of ceramics and complementary kitchen textiles, all inspired by the fruits of the Mediterranean biome. This collaboration is a shining example that quality, sustainability and innovation can and should go hand-in-hand.

“As an educational charity with a mission to demonstrate positive innovation and action for the planet, our licensing programme is highly selective, working only with purposeful organisations, products and solutions that limit, or improve, their impact on the world. We are incredibly proud of our partnership with Pure Table Top which has been growing since 2024 and we are excited to see what comes next.”
